Following the orders of his father, Nabhag went to the Brahmins of Angiras Gotra, corrected the mistake regarding Vaishvadev and completed the yagya efficiently. These Brahmins handed over the entire remaining wealth of the Yagya to Nabhag and they proceeded towards heaven. When Nabhag started taking the money, a black man came from the north, who was Krishnadarshan, an incarnation of Mahadev. He said, “Whatever is left in this yagya bhoomi is mine.”

Nabhag humbly replied, “The sages have given me this wealth, so it is mine.” The man said, “Let your father be questioned about our dispute.”

Nabhag felt this was right and he ran to his father. Nabhag’s father had learned the form of Mahadev and told the truth to Nabhag. Nabhag’s father said, “In the Yagya of Dakshprajapati, the sages have decided that whatever is left in the Yagya Bhoomi is Rudradev’s share. Therefore, this wealth belongs to Mahadev only.”

Nabhag was impressed by this teaching and he went to that man and bowed to Lord Rudra and said, “Lord! This is what my father has said. All the things in the Yagya Bhoomi are yours, O Lord! I have committed a crime, I ask for your forgiveness. “

Lord Rudra said to him, “Your father has given a decision favorable to the religion and you have also told me the truth. You already know the meaning of the Vedas. Now I give you the knowledge of the eternal Brahma element and save you in the yagya.” Whatever is my share, I am also giving this money to you.”

Thus, Mahadev removed the sufferings of Nabhag and included him in his adornment. Nabhag worshiped Mahadev in his sonlike form of Vishnu and attained Brahmagyan. In this form, Nabhaga worshiped his father and attained Brahma and he reached heaven.
